i find this v. v. amusing. a conversation between junhuang and his mum.

me: mum, is there any cure for "hay ku"? (hokkien for asthma)
mum: no lah.. fits very hard to cure de

*stops in tracks and turns*
me: hay ku leh.
mum: ya lah, then you think what, very easy to cure meh *goes on and on*

*stares with the confused face*
mum: what?
me: hay ku not asthma meh?

*silence...................*

mum: sorry lah
me: wah piang eh, you cannot be doctor leh, later give wrong medicine
mum: ya lah, then why you think i not doctor now
